Description

BSW Heating Ltd is a leading provider of gas repair and maintenance services and are looking to recruit a permanent Installation Supervisor working 40 hours a week.


The primary purpose of the Installations Supervisor is to survey properties and prepare the relevant paperwork by way of DRC's to a high standard for the preparation of the installation of a new boiler.

In addition, the successful applicant will need to ensure that engineers are working to gas industry and Health and Safety guidelines.

It is vital to communicate positively to build relationships with internal staff and clients whilst consistently improving safety, quality and productivity.


The principal responsibilities of the role include:

  • Carry our surveys and produce DRC's to a high standard including specifics to detail.
  • Conduct install starts to eliminate blow outs.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate specification of installations following a site visit.
  • Undertake QA inspections following an installation.
  • Involvement and liaison with the Customer Experience Team to ensure any issues are resolved.
  • Liaise with engineers to give feedback following a QA visit.
  • Build positive and effective working relationships with the Contract Administrators.

The essential criteria of the role are:

  • ACS Gas Qualifications.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • A proven track record as a Installation Supervisor.
  • Have the right to work in the UK.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Clear and logical decisions making skills.
  • Ability to use technology (PDA tablet).
  • Ability to identify and manage gas unsafe situations.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £41,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

  • Full Driving Licence (required)
  • Gas Industry Training (required)
  • ACS Gas Qualifications (required)
