HBM Learning have an exciting opportunity to work for an Outstanding independent training provider as an Apprenticeship Engagement Advisor. This will be hybrid working between home and at an office based in Twickenham.


You will be joining the Business Development Team to be the key point of contact to deliver a high-quality information, advice, and guidance service to individuals and organisations.

The role offers a clear progression pathway to Account Management within the Business Development Team, with support provided for your personal and professional development.


You will play a pivotal role in engaging with applicants interested in apprenticeship programmes, you will have a passion for working with and fostering relationships with employers, stakeholders and learners.

Excellent organisation and attention to detail skills providing information on our programmes and ensuring right learner, right programme at the right time, you will check eligibility and complete enrolment documentation.

The role consists of line manager engagement to confirm buy-in and expectations are met.

You will have excellent communication skills, experience of liaising with clients via phone, written and face to face as well as communicating with various internal departments.


A background in career development, employability, the apprenticeship sector, or recent experience in providing Information Advice and Guidance will be an advantage.


Responsibilities

  • Carry out Information Advice and Guidance (IAG) assessments with potential learners and Line managers in preparation for enrolment onto identified programmes
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of enrolment documentation
  • Ensure the IAG process is delivered in a timely manner and in accordance with the organisation procedure to ensure that all learners receive appropriate guidance on their next steps in training, education and employment
  • Working with colleagues ensure learner eligibility is confirmed prior to undertaking the Information, Advice and Guidance process
  • Conduct group learner and line manager information sessions online to promote and explain the content and expectations of the apprentice programme
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of learner enrolment
  • Professional and confident manner with the ability to engage with people at all levels
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to support the career development of learners
  • Offer high quality information advice and guidance in line with internal process and funding requirements.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in the completion of required documentation, processes and systems
  • Work as a member of the Business Development Team to achieve Key Performance Indicators relevant to your job role
  • To continually update professional knowledge and skills and acquire competencies to ensure your approach to your role adheres to the most recent developments current and future

Essential Criteria

  • GCSE A
  • C / 49 in English and Maths (or equivalent)
  • Willingness to work towards Information Advice and Guidance Qualification
  • 2 years' customer service experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office / IT
  • Decision making and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Personable and friendly
  • Ability to work in collaboration with others
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Punctual, reliable and flexible
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and unsupervised
  • Able to use own initiative to drive success outcomes
  • Ability to communicate at different levels

£24,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
