Description

Solution Architect needed for this global professional services business. Working directly with the Head of IT the role will involve supporting the end to end design and delivery of their digital IT platforms

The Solution Architect will:

Engage with internal projects and partners to understand and identify their scope and needs then design appropriate solutions that are aligned with the architectural roadmap and strategy
Act as a key partner with our Network working with internal and external solution engineers and architects to research, define and implement new technologies, tools and platforms that support our global strategy
Contribute to the financial investment process to obtain funding for key solution opportunities and setting guiding principles and solution success criteria for technical solutions implemented

The right Solution Architect will have a proven track record in a similar role and have a good mix of:

Relevant practical experience as a Solution Architect working on large-scale complex programmes.
Strong understanding of modern software development practices.
Demonstrable handson experience designing, building and maintaining scalable products and platforms
The ability to help shape and design guidance and processes
Must be skilled in stakeholder engagement at all levels, with people from business and technical backgrounds, internal and external facing.
The ability to concisely communicate complex technical concepts to a broad audience, relating them to business value
Experience of working with third party service suppliers or outsource providers.
