Description

Our client, Leicester City Council, is looking for some social workers to join their Children in Need Team.

The CIN team is an imperative part of Children's Services. They play a very important role in preventing referrals from progressing into Child Protection Cases wherever possible.

Their primary purpose is to support and empower families in taking care oftheir children and recognising them as experts in their own lives.

Hybrid working arrangements

Responsibilities of the role:

Carry out Section 17 and 47 assessments.
Work alongside the Single Assessment Team to agree a clear plan of action for how best to support families.
Create and implement Child in Need plans.
Partake in Child in Need reviews and provide expertise.

Requirements of the role:

Social Work Degree or equivalent.
Social Work England registration.
Postqualifying experience in a similar team.
UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
