We're putting together a talented team to double our commercial sales


Based in Exeter, UK, we are a leading supplier of electrical power products and systems to the marine, specialist vehicle and defence industries.

With over 30 years in business our systems have been fitted to everything from Formula 1 Trucks to front-line Main Battle Tanks and surveillance vehicles to yachts.


As the complexity of onboard power supply has increased with an ever-accelerating need to supply reliable mobile power, we have pioneered the development of products and systems that keep our customers on the move and able to operate safely, whatever the task or mission.


We are a high-growth company with an increasing focus on broadening our export business and continuing to be successful at home.

Since our focus has changed from defence to commercial business, our company objective is to double commercial sales in the next 12 months.


Who we're looking for:

As our Marketing Executive, you will be responsible for planning, executing and following up on a sound marketing plan (of which you will have input)


Practically, this means:
-
Strategy Development. Collaborate with the marketing team and senior management to create effective marketing plans aligned with the company's objectives and target audience.
-
Market Research. Conduct market research to identify customer needs, preferences, and market trends. Analyse competitors and provide insights to shape marketing strategies.
-
Branding and Positioning. Develop and maintain the company's brand image and ensure consistency across all marketing materials. Position the company's products or services effectively in the market.

Relationship Building. Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry influencers. Represent the company at networking events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.

Analytics and Reporting. Monitor marketing analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing activities. Prepare regular reports for management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and recommendations.

Management. Effectively communicate with and assign tasks to the marketing team to ensure that projects are delivered on time and of high quality.

What experience we're looking for:


Your key skills & background:

-
Education. A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is typically preferred, with 3+ years of industry experience accepted as an alternative.
-
Experience. Prior experience in a marketing role, preferably as a marketing executive or similar position. Experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, and using marketing analytics tools.

Proficiency in Adobe's Creative Suite. Experience in creating on-brand, engaging graphics for organic social media platforms, paid advertisement, websites, and print. Experience in editing both short and long-form video content to capture and maintain the attention of a target audience.
-
Photography and Videography. An understanding of, or experience in operating camera, sound and lighting equipment for both studio and event-based photography and videography is advantageous within the role.

  • You hold a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
