Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to oversee and enhance our quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of BRC and HACCP principles. This role is crucial in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety, thereby maintaining customer satisfaction and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure product compliance with HACCP standards.
• BRC Standards
• Overseeing and maintaining high standards within our Cooked Meats and Bacon factories.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of production processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Analyse quality data and prepare reports to communicate findings to management and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organisation.
• Monitor supplier quality performance and work closely with suppliers to resolve any issues that arise.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quality control.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a quality assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment.
• Strong knowledge of BRC requirements and maintaining high standards.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP principles and their application in quality management systems.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
