    Key Role: Compensation Advisor

    Duration: FTC until December 2025

    • Competitive salary up to £53,000

    We are partnering with a leading Scientific research organisation on an exciting opportunity for a Compensation Advisor. In this analytical reward role, you will support the Head of Reward with day-to-day compensation tasks and play a key part in numerous upcoming projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support annual reward activities, including pay and bonus reviews, ensuring alignment with the organisation's pay policy.
    • Maintain and analyse market benchmarking data, providing salary benchmarks and package recommendations.
    • Contribute to job levelling processes and provide detailed data modelling to support reward decisions.
    • Assist in preparing committee papers with clear recommendations for stakeholders.
    • Participate in setting up, testing, and administering compensation and recognition systems.

    Requirements:

    Essential Skills and Experience:

    • Proven experience in compensation and reward, with a strong understanding of benchmarking roles.
    • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills, capable of presenting data clearly.
    • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in building complex pay and bonus models.
    • Demonstrable knowledge of compensation management principles and practices.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across all parts of the organisation.
    • High level of numeracy, accuracy, and attention to detail.

    Desirable Skills and Experience:

    • Experience with Willis Towers Watson salary surveys and Workday.
    • Ability to provide clear written guidance on pay and recognition processes.
