Our school in Southwark is working to provide special needs children in the area with the highest quality of education With a warm and hardworking team of staff, you'll feel confident to do your best

We are working alongside graduates and offer training and excellent paid work experience so that they can go on to chase their dream careers

What you'll do day to day as a SEN Student Assistant:

Offer emotional and mental support to students
Work with class teachers and other staff members to develop tailored learning plans for your students
Create and foster a positive relationship with staff / parents
Work with psychologists / support workers where needed
Develop learning materials and run them through class with your students

Our ideal SEN Student Assistant:

Someone who has experience with special needs children OR someone who has a relevant degree (Psychology, Special Needs Studies, Support Work etc)
Is great at building rapport with children
Wants to work towards the common goal of providing a better future for our pupils
