Description

The key job functions are to support the day to day upkeep of the Business Management System, IMS (company intranet), internal SHEQ assessment documentation and the general maintenance, development and improvement of the company Management System.

To assist with the standardisation and alignment of project delivery, capturing learning to continuously develop and improve our management systems and project performance


Maintain good communication and effective relationship with projects and assist as required in the organisation of internal and external audits.

The role requires extensive travelling, 80% of the time.


Responsibilities & Duties

Including but not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the review and development of key SHEQ processes and procedures
  • Maintenance of IMS (company intranet) with respect to functional document filing structure and document control
  • Manage and conduct internal SHEQ audits in line the internal programme
  • Collate and communicate monthly SHEQ performance statistics for Omexom and report to Vinci Energies
  • Monitor SHEQ performance and produce reports as required
  • Assist in progression of supplier PQQ review and assessment
  • Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of 3rd party certification in line with business requirements, ISO, NERS and Achilles
  • Assist with preparation of Management System Review powerpoint presentation
  • Assist with Management System Induction for new starters
  • Coordination of SHEQ communication
  • Provide input and support to the business SHEQ Objectives
  • Provide support for tenders to the business units as requested

Person Specification

Qualifications and experience

The jobholder shall be a motivated self-starter, possessing:

  • Suitably qualified and experienced, ideally educated to HNC level
  • IRCA approved Internal Auditor and NEBOSH qualification.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience of maintaining and developing Management Systems
  • Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • A sound working knowledge of relevant safety, health and environmental legislation
  • Strong IT Skills with the ability to utilise Microsoft office package to deliver relevant statistical analysis and reports.
  • A full clean driving license

Desirable

  • Lead auditor qualification in one of the following standards
  • ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 900
  • IOSH Environmental training or equivalent
