To fulfil the expectations and core capabilities of an Advanced Practitioner (AP) as set out in the Trust AP job description

  • To work autonomously at an advanced level providing high quality patient care
  • Utilise the four pillars of advanced practice to support delivery of the Trust objectives in keeping with the Trust value.
  • Expection to take a lead role in the clinical assessment and treatment of complex multisystem major trauma patients.
  • Provide clinical expertise and take an active role in developing and enhancing the Major Trauma service.
