Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to provide expert advice and support in the delivery of palliative care.
Provide assessment and management of complex palliative care needs.
Develop care plans for patients and families, working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, policies, and procedures.

Requirements:

A degree in medicine or nursing or equivalent
Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care or related field
At least 5 years of experience in palliative care, with a proven track record of delivering highquality care.
Experience in managing complex symptoms, psychosocial and spiritual issues associated with palliative care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals from different disciplines.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary package, commensurate with experience. The consultant will be based in our facility, but may be required to travel to other locations as necessary.
