Description

Purpose of Post:

To provide sales administration support and processing orders in an efficient and timely manner.


Key responsibilities:


  • Process orders in an accurate and timely manner
  • Proactively deal with customer enquiries regarding stock availability, delivery, price and product specification
  • Support the Sales team with administration based tasks
  • General housekeeping and updating of customer records
  • Working closely with all internal teams (finance, logistics, marketing, operations, etc) to ensure on time and in full delivery of customer orders.
  • To deal with problems and complaints where appropriate, escalating them to the Sales Director where necessary
  • Manage your own workload and support other team members where possible
  • Participate in any training as necessary
  • Undertake any other tasks relevant to the level of the post, as requested by the Sales Director or Company Managers.

Key skills required:


  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good computer and keyboard skills, with an understanding of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • An ability to work independently and as a team
  • Ability to learn quickly

Job Types:

From £22,880.00 per year
