To help realise this vision, we are currently seeking a
Children and
Youth Leader to oversee our Children's Ministry and work with our Youths as part of our wider Ministry Team


Blackheath & Charlton Baptist Church is looking for a Children and Youth Leader

YOUTH MINISTRY:

The Youth Team Leader will be responsible for ensuring that the young people in our Church Family have an effective discipleship experience through Sunday meetings, Vertical Youth Club, Youth Camps, and other youth-focused social events.

JOB DESCRIPTION


Ministry:

• Work as a part of the wider Pastoral Team to disciple and nurture the Youth in our Church Family.
• Participate in and serve at various church events e.g., Courses, Sunday Services, Conferences, Prayer Meetings, and other special events.
• Have oversight of the Children's Ministry

Sundays:

• Ensure excellent provision of onsite (when possible) and online/blended services that are easily accessible by all the youth.
• Ensure there are appropriate group leaders and teams for Youth during the Church Services and other occasions as required.
• Encourage participation in the wider life of the Church.

Weekdays

• Provide opportunities for young people to be part of Vertical Youth Club.

Youth Worship

• Encourage the development of worship within the youth, in partnership with the Worship Director.
• Create opportunities for the youth to develop in the Worship Ministry.

Mission

• Collaborate with other churches and organisations to create opportunities for young people to share their faith.

Children's

Ministry:
Oversee and support (when appropriate) the Children's Team.
