HSE Recruitment are proud to be recruiting for a leading logistics company who are seeking a
Regional Health and Safety Business Partner to cover 8 locations.
If you are looking for a role that offers variety, the opportunity to support multiple sites and the freedom to influence decisions, this could be the role for you.
This role will cover 8 sites in Reading, Hayes, Farnborough, Southampton, London Central, Borehamwood and Waltham Cross. You will be out on site approx. 3/4 days a week with home working the other 1/2 days.Ideally you will be based in or accessible to, Westor North London or near Reading to get across all locations easily.
This isn't a 9-5 role as the nature of this business means that the hub of activity happens early morning so some early starts will be needed to really impact the culture and drive behaviours.
It is the role of the Health & Safety Business Partner to support these teams at each site, focusing on building relationships.
On one hand, this will be a hands-on role, roll your sleeves up, get onto site, do risk assessments etc.
On the other hand, you willalso be required to do auditing of the sites and feed that back to site with a plan.
Previous experience of this will be advantageous but training will be given re:ISO standards and internal auditing, with development to lead auditor.
You will support thesites with training, ensuring safe working practices, create and improve risk assessments, accident investigations and ISO systems management.
You will work closely with the Operational leadership teams to develop a positive health and safety culture, engagingand inspiring Operational site leaders to deliver a safe place to work.
Experience required:
- Diploma Level H&S qualification is desired but we will consider NEBOSH Certificate level
- Ideally logistics experience would be preferred but other multisite experience will be considered such as manufacturing
- Experience in a similar level role is required, especially in a hands on capacity, driving culture and behaviours
- Experience auditing sites, ideally against ISO standards
- Clean driving license
