Salary:
Days & Hours:40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (
Winter Hours: 8.30am - 4.30pm, December & January). Plus occasional evening and weekend work. 4 days per week may be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, admissions, group visitation, and sales of experiences, animal adoptions, and memberships.
- Analyse data and produce monthly reports to measure the success of digital marketing activities and make recommendations for improvements and growth.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and technologies and provide recommendations to improve marketing initiatives.
- Manage our website, ensuring that it is up to date, easy to navigate, and optimised for search engines.
- Produce regular, engaging, and informative blog articles for the Zoo Blog.
- Work in partnership with the Content Creator & Videographer to continually produce engaging content for social media platforms.
- Manage Google PPC, Meta and other digital advertising.
- Provide adhoc support to the Head of Sales & Marketing and Brand & Engagement Manager.
Other Duties:
- Collate expenditure across all digital channels to feed into the overall marketing budget.
- Supporting the Marketing Assistant with IT Support and liaison with IT support contractors.
- Carry out other duties which may or may not be related to the job as reasonably requested by the Head of Sales & Marketing.
- Occasional staffing of the office on a rota basis (approx. 1 weekend day per month and occasional bank holidays).
- To support the Marketing team with the achievement of wider marketing goals.
Skills & Experience:
Essential:
- 2+ years' experience in Digital Marketing.
- 2+ years' experience in social media management and content creation.
- 2+ years' experience in Google PPC and Meta advertising.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Desirable:
- Adobe Photoshop skills.
- 2+ years' experience working within a busy Marketing team.
- 1+ years' copywriting experience for a range of audiences.
- Relevant qualification in Marketing or a related field.
- Experience in the Visitor Economy.
