Full Time, 37 hours per week
Location:
Hybrid working, must be available to attend site visit in the area (Lincoln/Scunthorpe/Louth) up to two days per week/as and when required.

Explore a new career with usThe key purpose of this role is to:
Build relationships with stakeholders, identify current and future water resource, treatment and distribution asset system risks and effective resolutions, use information from data systems, site visits and stakeholder workshops to create system plans which help identify future investments and understand business and regulatory requirements to ensure investments are providing optimum benefit.
Key tasks include:
Supporting Portfolio Leads for Treated Water Distribution, Water Treatment Works and Water Resources Management Plan in the management of the overarching investment programme.
Creating and maintaining 'system plans' at a system of physical assets level from 'source to tap'.
System plans encompass all assets and activities for the water abstraction, transfer, treatment, distribution and supply all the way to the customers tap.
Generating initial root cause statements, evaluation of risks & creation of solutions, producing investments from the system plan for prioritisationLeading workshops with various stakeholders to understand current and future risks and identify how these might be resolved
Working with key stakeholders and business experts to support regulatory requirements for the production of the Water Resource Management Plan.
Understanding the portfolio level cost base (TOTEX, unit cost to serve, e.g., cost per mega litre treated or transported)
Ensuring system plans align with business strategies and regulatory requirements across portfolios
Inputting relevant data to allow data & information to allow for benefits tracking
Supporting efficiency identification in the portfolio

What does it take to be a System Planner?
Experience using Excel, PowerBi and C55
You must be a pro-active self starter
Excellent communication skills
Advanced data reporting skills
Strong knowledge of the Water/Wastewater or another utility / infrastructure / physical asset management industry
