Logistics Manager

Role Summary
Responsible for Assisting with the control of West Atlantic material and Logistics solution for UK including inventory control

Responsible for assisting with Customs Import/Export and material support to the aircraft maintenance operations in UK and Europe

Responsibilities

Manage Goods in from receipt and inspection in line with EASA and FAA regulations
Ensure the accurate selection of aircraft parts for use within the engineering group
Ensure the timely dispatch of parts to the customers and operators
Facilitate and effectively operate engineering counter enquiries and tool allocation
Conduct stock counts as requested
Other duties related to the efficient and effective management of Logistics
Use a computerised maintenance inventory system to record all material transactions, ensuring availability of aircraft parts and materials for aircraft maintenance
Ensure all activities are carried out safely and good housekeeping standards are met at all times.
Deliver COMAT stock to the aircraft through the night

Academic/Educational Requirements
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Required Skills/Experience:

Previous experience within a stores/warehouse environment
Possess good communication skills (both written & verbal)
Ability to work on own and within a team
Ability to take the initiative
Basic IT Skills

Salary
Circa £24,273 depending on experience

£2,500 - Shift Allowance
