Fencing Centre Operative with Delivery Driver - Retail customers multi drops

We have an exciting opportunity for a Fencing Centre Delivery Driver to join us based at our site in Midgley (Wakefield) on a full-time or part-time basis.

Weekdays and weekend shifts available.

As a delivery driver, your role will involve picking out customer orders from the yard, loading them onto the delivery vehicle, collecting paperwork, and delivering the order direct to our customers.

Most of your drops will be to addresses local to our branch in Wakefield. On occasions you may be needed to work out of our Wentworth (Rotherham/Barnsley) site to provide holiday cover.


WHAT EXPERIENCE/SKILLS WE NEED FROM OUR DELIVERY DRIVER:

• Appropriate driving license
• Experience of working within a Timber/Builder's Merchant is beneficial (full training can be provided for the right applicant)
• Full, clean driving license
• Previous experience of working in outdoor setting in a physical demanding role
• Previous retail/customer service experience is essential
• Counterbalance/ forklift truck license would be beneficial
• A likeability factor
• A cando, positive attitude
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to complete manual handling and prepared to work in the outdoors throughout the year
• Reliable and posses good time management
