Vehicle Spray Painter/Prepper

Location:
Abergavenny

Salary:
£15.00 to £17.00 per hour (based on qualifications, experience, and skills)

Schedule:
Monday to Friday (No weekends); Overtime available but not mandatory

Join our client, a leading Accident Repair Centre in South Wales, established in 2005. A family-operated facility with a cutting-edge workshop specializing in manufacturer-approved repairs and holding BSI Kitemark accreditation. We are currently seeking a skilled Painter/Prepper to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Efficiently prepare, spray, and finish vehicles, ensuring precise colour matching.
Understand spray painting technology, paint composition, and various paint spraying methods. Stay informed about product developments and attend relevant training courses.
Conduct vehicle preparation tasks, including masking, sanding, and other necessary activities before painting.
Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring Company tools and equipment are in good condition to minimize fire hazards.
Adhere to all housekeeping, health, and safety regulations applicable to your position and working environment.

Requirements:

ATA certification is preferable but not mandatory; Time Served Painters are welcome to apply.
