About the role

This Finance Analyst role is a newly created position and it gives a great opportunity to shape the added value that can come from a role like this.

Responsible for supporting the management accountant and finance manager in financial control and analysisof different business divisions.

Key responsibilities

Support in preparation of the monthly management accounts for the business division
Analyse the commercial performance of the division
Responsible for the weekly reporting process, ensuring that transactions are reviewed and reconciled to SAP
Preparation of weekly KPI and customer insight reports providing detailed commentary on key variances to budget and movements in performance
Responsible for monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
Supporting external audit
Proactive looking for opportunities for cost reduction, commercial opportunities that will support the delivery of the budget
Support account managers through regular timely reporting and adhoc requests
Work with finance manager to ensure adequate credit insurance in place
Liaise with customers to share information which will aid and improve the performance of the business
Suggests and develops process improvements within business division and other stakeholder partners to improve performance

Person profile

Excel (Advanced)
SQL experience an advantage
Strong commercial awareness
Ability to build internal relationships at all levels
ACCA / ACA / CIMA (Part-Qualified or studying towards)
