The main purpose of this role is to assist in leading a warehouse's goods in and goods out departments, ensuring the smooth and efficient receipt and distribution of stock.


Primary responsibilities:

  • Taking responsibility for the receipt of deliveries into the business, including processing, booking in and handling related paperwork
  • Checking and maintaining the condition of stock
  • Ensuring all outbound stock transfers are completed promptly and precisely
  • Liaising with Head Office departments in the event of discrepancies, inaccuracies and quality control issues
  • Safely and efficiently delivering stock and supplies to other retail locations in the Scotland distribution network
  • Completing any other driving duties as required
  • Upholding existing Health & Safety practices
  • Any other reasonable duties as required by management

A successful applicant should have:

  • Experience in a warehouse environment
  • Enthusiasm for developing product and wider business knowledge
  • Passion for identifying problems and implementing solutions
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills
  • Confidence using IT, including Office and stock management software
