Honey Tots Day Nursery are recruiting for Apprentice Early Years Practitioners to join our friendly and energetic family.

You will primarily be working with babies and children from 0 - 5 years, helping with the daily routines, planning activities, monitoring the children and interacting with the children.

You will assist with fun and interactive learning in a safety-oriented environment.

Working hours are between 8.00am and 6.00pm, these can be negotiated during the interview.

Requirements for Nursery Apprentice

To be considered for this position of Nursery Apprentice, you should:

Be passionate about working with Children
Have experience in childcare or willing to start a career in childcare
Have an enthusiastic and fun approach to learning
Hold or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

Main Activities

To have an understanding of children's development, their needs and the provision of positive play.
To create an interesting and stimulating environment for the child to develop all their skills.
To provide at all times a warm and caring environment for babies.
To be flexible and adaptable, to assist in all areas of nursery work and to provide support for other members of staff.
To go about your duties with a positive and enthusiastic attitude to be organised, efficient, confident, hardworking and conscientious.
To be responsible for any tasks delegated by the Nursery Manager
To complete all academic aspects of the apprenticeship
To work in partnership with senior management to update and review the selfevaluation and improvement plan.
To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed, in accordance with the Nursery aims and objectives
