At The P.E. Specialists Ltd we understand the importance of Health and its impact on a child's life. Our aim is to help children lay the foundations for their future using physical education as the building blocks.

Physical activity is proven to increase physical health, boost mental wellbeing, build resilience, enhance academic attainment and encourage active habits for life.

So, we created Your Sport London in order to provide integrated sport services for Primary School.

We are looking for a coach with experience working with both KS1 and KS2 children who Ideally, will be professional, fun, and energetic to keep the children engaged during lessons.

This will be self-employed part-time role which can be up to 35 hours a week. Successful coaches will be offered more hours depending on successful performance and positive feedback from school staff.


All applicants MUST be:

• Be a Minimum Level 1 in a recognised NGB sport (working towards level 2)
• Clean DBS check
• 1st Aid Qualified (can be organised)
• Safeguarding qualified (can be organised)
• Working in a primary school environment, minimum 1 year.
• Good communicator
• Work well with children
• Able to travel using own transport

Roles and Responsibilities

• To prepare and implement wellstructured and progressive coaching programmes ensuring a high quality, enjoyable coaching experience centred on the needs of children.
• To plan, provide and supervise activities that are appropriate, stimulating, and challenging.
• To deliver coaching in a range of physical activities alongside teachers within the school's PE curriculum.
• Develop knowledge and understanding of the PE Curriculum.
• Demonstrate and help children to understand the importance of keeping fit.
• Ensure that Health & Safety procedures are always adhered to.
• Ability to think for themselves and work with a minimum of supervision
• Be able to plan a range of innovative coaching sessions and programs

Essential

• Full UK Driving License and vehicle.
• Valid DBS
• Minimum one reference from coaching background.
• Have experience teaching different sports to children
