**Occupational Therapist
Hospital in Manchester
Band 6 equivalent up to £35,000**My client are currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist for their Manchester Hospital.

This hospital provides a range of surgical and medical services for outpatient, day case and inpatients - a very reputable compliant service achieving outstandingCQC rating.


Duties and responsibilities

  • You will be highly experienced in managing Preassessments, Reenablement, planning complex discharges and advanced planning.
  • Experience in orthopaedics, cardiac and general surgery is essential
  • Experience in facilitating discharge with complex ward patients
  • Able to demonstrate expertise in procurement of equipment to support discharge while assessing suitability of equipment for patients prior to discharge
  • Able to support with home environment assessments as requested in line with needs of service
  • You will need to be very adaptable, flexible and able to work within a MDT environment

CRITERIA

  • A qualified Occupational Therapist with a valid registration.
  • 2 years' experience in Occupational Therapy
  • Acute experience
