Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
- Provide oneonone or small group support to students with special needs, including those with autism
- Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Support students in their academic and social development
- Assist with classroom management and behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with the lead teacher to assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed
- Provide feedback to the lead teacher on student performance and behavior
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children, especially those with special needs or autism, is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to follow directions and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
Job Type:
Part-time
Salary:
£10.00-£12.00 per hour
Expected hours: - 2 per week
