Description

• Loading and unloading of goods, parcels and pallets
• Checking documentation
• Pick and pack, pallet building including different types of ULDs for airline freighters
• Inspection of received shipments and reporting of any irregularities
• Processing received shipments in our WMS (Warehouse Management System)
• Pallet buildup according to the operational planning
• Operating pump truck, forklift trucks and other machinery
• Complying with health & safety and security protocols

• Speaks good English
• Has lived and worked in UK or within the European Union for at least the past 5 years (this is a requirement to pass security background checks)
• Is a reliable teamplayer, who loves working in a fastmoving multicultural environment
• Doesn't want to leave the warehouse until the day's job is done and done well
• Preferably has a forklift license and prior pump truck experience
• Preferably has a driving license

• Scanning and recording of all import and export items as required by the customer SOP, within company systems
• Processing of delivery documents via either handheld scanners or documentary systems
• Use of warehouse equipment including forklifts, pump trucks and scales

• Collectively with other members of team, responsible for all Health and Safety rules and practices within the operation for staff, visitors, drivers
• Contributes to the overall site safety and codes of conduct
• Maintaining all rules on visitors, doors, freight as required for regulatory compliance

• Work together constructively with other team members. other departments and external partners
• Able to train new and temporary staff in company systems, scanning apparatus, PMC buildup
• Supports the warehouse management to continuously improve processes and work instructions
• Work within the company rules (employee handbook) and code of conduct with particular regard to both internal and external communication
