The Role
- This is an exciting, varied and challenging role and perfect for anyone who wishes to work with young people to support their aspirations to progress to University. You will deliver a range of talks and events in schools, colleges and on campus whilst also attending external recruitment events (locally and nationally) and playing a key role in open events at the University. The post holder will work closely with Recruitment and WP Officers as well as fellow Events Coordinators within the team to focus on the processing and delivery of recruitment and outreach activities to schools and colleges.
Requirements:
- You will be organised with a flexible, proactive approach to tasks and be able to work effectively under pressure. Confident and enthusiastic, you will work effectively as part of a team and have proven interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work on your own initiative, without daytoday supervision, is also vital. The SCE team's office is based at the Canterbury campus and the role requires travel to schools and colleges in Kent and Medway and occasionally in neighbouring counties and nationally. Access to a car is preferred.
