GENERAL SUMMARY OF ROLE
To promote the mental health, wellbeing and independence of residents in living in our mental health and autism scheme.

In particular, to motivate and support residents in relation to maintaining a tenancy, managing finances, developing coping skills, hygiene, diet and nutrition and conflict resolution.


To ensure that the day to day administration, management and maintenance of the scheme is in accordance with the Association's standards and procedures.

To co-ordinate, liaise with and monitor the provision of outside support services for all residents.


DUTIES
1) To make daily contact with all residents.

2) To support residents in relation to maintaining a tenancy, managing finances, developing coping skills, hygiene, diet and nutrition.

3) Provide advice on paying rent and service charges, including assisting in claiming welfare benefits.

4) To support residents in dealing with interpersonal conflict resolution.

5) To provide emotional support, counselling and crisis intervention.

6) To co-ordinate, liaise with and monitor the provision of outside support services for all residents.

7) Developing and implementing personalised support plans.

8) To report to the Housing Managers on a regular basis on the welfare of residents.

9) To liaise and make referrals of other agencies, working in partnership with them for the benefit of all residents.

10) Facilitate resident engagement both within the scheme and local community.

11) To undertake 'concierge' duties ensuring the security of the scheme, including responding to any alarm calls and dealing with emergency situations etc.

12) Manage the building - report repairs, carry out health and safety checks etc.

13) To follow and adhere to all of the Association's policies and procedures.


Pay:
£28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
