We are looking for a Junior Customer Service Assistant offering the following benefits;

Inline with Black Box's growth plan and our continued success and expansion, a new opportunity for a Junior Customer Service Assistant has come available, working out of our headquarters in Chorley, Lancashire PR6 7BX.


  • Key point of contact for customers
  • Answering customer service calls in line with company procedures
  • Answering customer queries where applicable
  • Discussing site visits with customers, confirming attendance and collecting feedback
  • Redate and reconfirm site visits with customers and engineers where necessary.
  • Liasing with all departments to ensure customer needs are met; particularly field engineers
  • Providing office support to the service team where necessary
  • Ensure that customers needs are met promptly and accurately; focusing on client satisfaction.
  • Helping maintain company quality control
  • General admin duties (scanning, printing, filing etc.)
  • Any other ad hoc duties requested via your manager

About you:

Excellent organisational skills

  • Confident positive telephone manner
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and help the team
  • Friendly, flexible and adaptable as our industry, especially the service department, is very reactive.
  • Work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to perform tasks using Microsoft word, excel, and outlook.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with all departments throughout the company.
