We are currently seeking an experienced, enthusiastic Marketing Officer who will lead on our PR and communications content, and who will enjoy being involved in every aspect of our marketing activity.


The details for this post are as follows:

  • Salary: Points £24, ,189 per annum FTE / Actual Salary £13, ,141 per annum
  • Hours: 25 hours per week, term-time plus enrolment week (39 weeks)

Are you passionate about communications and love to tell a story? At Peter Symonds, we have an exciting opportunity to be part of a creative, fast-paced team in which you'll be able to use your experience and skills to showcase our outstanding college and its fabulous community.

The role includes managing all aspects of PR, being the first point of contact for all press enquiries.

As well as forging strong, positive relations with the media, you'll also be working with students and colleagues to promote success stories and the USPs of our successful college.


Your strong copywriting skills and keen eye for detail will be essential as you assist in the creation and delivery of marketing content across print, social and digital.

A great team player, your 'can do' attitude and organisational skills will also be the perfect complement in a busy, friendly team that manages a varied events calendar.
