Higher level teaching assistant


We are currently looking for an experienced and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support with a school in the Darlington area.

The role

  • As a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant, you will have a higher level of responsibility and may be teaching classes on your own, setting up for lessons, you may cover absences. You will be required to support students with their education whilst ensuring that they are safe and confident in what they are doing.

  • Darlington
Salary
- £75-85 per day

Hours

  • Monday
  • Friday 830am4pm
  • This role will initially be temporary but may become permanent for the right person._

  • Experience of working within education

  • Have knowledge of the curriculum

  • Police checks
  • DBS and overseas police check if needed (lived abroad for more that 5month in the past 5years)
  • Satisfactory references
  • CV covering in the past 10years
  • Completion of a safeguarding course

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
