Internal Communications Manager
Job purpose:
As the Internal Communications Associate, you are responsible for the development of internal messaging and communications collateral to help IFRS Foundation colleagues understand the organisation's strategy, culture and key initiatives.
The team:
This role sits in the Corporate Communications team within the wider External Affairs & Communications department and is focused on internal, colleague-facing communications.
Principal responsibilities:
Content creation and publishing:
- Crafting internal, colleaguefacing messages
- Ensuring that the content is current, relevant and engaging for colleagues
- Working collaboratively with departments and individuals across the organisation to source and coordinate news and features
- Ensuring consistency in messaging across all mediums and departments of the organisation
- Maintaining the internal communications calendar
Channel management:
- Undertaking channel improvement activities
Strategy and campaign support:
- Supporting the internal communications manager with the delivery of internal campaigns, change programmes and organisationwide communications
- Assisting with the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy
Internal event support:
- Supporting Foundationwide and departmental allstaff calls
- Supporting other Foundationwide events
Analytics:
- Analysing internal communications data to formulate recommendations for content and channel improvements, for example through tracking article readership and call attendance, conducting surveys and polls
- Conducting internal communications bestpractice research
Skills, attributes and experience required:
- Exposure and familiarity to internal communication
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent copywriting and copyediting skills, with ability to flex tone as required and attention to detail
- Experience of working with SharePoint preferred; or other content management systems
- Experience of updating intranet or websites daily
- Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders
- Commitment to championing audience needs and acting on feedback
- Strong collaborative skills to work as part of a team and the ability to be selfmotivated
- Ability to manage workload effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong prioritisation, time management and organisational skills, with an ability to work effectively under pressure while still maintaining a high level of attention to detail

- Adherence to our organisational values and behaviours
