IT Finance Business Partner looking for their next role with a global marketing brand

Salary:
£58,000 to £60,000

The role:

Provides effective financial partnership to the COO focusing upon the IT & Technology spend
Successfully provides financial data suitable for various audiences, including clients or internal business partners
Key duties include financial planning, analysis, business plans, business cases, payroll, and technical accounting for capital and operating expenses
Maintains effective controls to maximize profits and to ensure conformity with budgets
Works closely with procurement, IT leadership & COO to develop effective strategy and cost management across the technology estate
Reports accurate financial results for areas of responsibility on a monthly basis and/or in accordance with established timelines or other ad hoc needs; may include verifying operational usage to P&L and/or overseeing the preparation of accurate forecasting/budgetingand transformation activities
Partners with business leadership to successfully deliver profit improvement and/or financial success against contract terms
Utilizes contract terms, pricing options, and compliance requirements to make recommendations on deal/commercial contracts

About you:

Highly numerate with strong analytical, data modelling and problemsolving capabilities enabled by advanced Excel skills
Power BI or Python data mining (desirable)
Finance professional, with a strong grasp of financial management, business partnering and performance management with relevant accounting qualifications (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or similar)
Interest/understanding of IT infrastructure/networks
Excellent verbal and written communication skills appropriate for engaging a diverse range of audiences and stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels across the business functions and influence senior management/directors and wider stakeholders
Strong organisational skills and an ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team and the strength of character to challenge the business and influence decision making
