We work with children, irrespective of their disability, from birth through to 25 years.
Each year we support over 15,000 disabled children, offer over 120 different services and work with about 80 Local Authorities across England.

About The Role:
***In this role you will co-ordinate KIDS services in Bracknell Forest for disabled children and young people age 3-18 and their families as well as young adults up to 25.
This involves working alongside a senior practitioner lead and a group of sessional play workers to:
- Coordinate the short breaks offer for children, young people and young adults as well as holiday play schemes and term time Saturday clubs
- Attend local social and health meetings with the council and help to produce termly reports on delivery
- Provide line management and supervisory support to the senior practitioners

- Please note:
- The play scheme is run on Saturdays during term time and Monday to Friday during school holidays.
- Being a car driver is essential for this role
- The role of coordinator is based at KIDS Bracknell Office but as an organisation we support hybrid working this can be discussed more at interview
About You:
***- Relevant work experience in one of more of the following fields: Children's service, Health, Education, Social Care or the Voluntary sector or Advice and Guidance
- Experience of working directly with Disabled children and young people and their families
- Own life experience will be considered valuable
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluation groups and individual support for children and young people with disabilities
You will need to have experience in managing small projects and overseeing a staff team of support/ play workers.
You will also need to be an experienced support/ play worker being able to cover shifts and model good practice.
