Overview:

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Level 3 IT Cloud Network Specialist Apprenticeship.

The Apprentice Network Infrastructure Technician will work alongside our engineers to gain a thorough understanding of the equipment,
installation, and maintenance methodologies.

Duties / Area's to cover:

Network Cabling

Cabling
Termination
Labelling
Testing

Audio Visual

Remove legacy equipment
Installation of Interactive Whiteboards and Projectors

CCTV

Assist with the installation of CCTV cameras
Access Control
Assist with the installation of Access Control systems

Wi-Fi

Installation of wireless access points

Special Requirements:

There will be an element of travel involved in this role, therefore having a full and valid driving licence and access to your own transport is essential
DBS checks will be carried out prior to employment

Entry requirements:

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

Employment basis:

16-month fixed term contract.

Contractual hours:

37.5 hours per week.

Salary:

£12,000 per annum.

Holidays:

20 holidays per annum, plus Statutory Bank Holidays.

Future prospects:

Full time position upon successful completion of the apprenticeship
Advance to higher level apprenticeship progression within the business to other roles

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
