Account Manager (field based)
**Business Service Contracts

Covering East London and Essex**We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join one of our client businesses covering the East London area.

You'll be home based 4 days per week and out seeing clients, then office based in West London one day per week.

We're lookingfor an excellent relationship builder who can retain existing accounts and increase spend within them. If you love to develop relationships and have a proven track record in account management we'd love to hear from you


The Role:


  • This is a client facing account management position, managing relationships with around 220 customer accounts of a mix of size, value and industry type.
  • The company provide workwear, washrooms and linen services on a contract basis, usually over 3 years so this role involves customer retention and development of spend in accounts to increase the service offering within each business.
  • You will be the lead point of contact for customers and understand their needs and future requirements.
  • You'll be covering the East London and Essex area, working from home 4 days a week with 1 day based in the office in Acton.
  • You'll work to growth and retention targets for the customer portfolio and ensure they are achieved on an annual basis.

The Person:


  • We're looking for someone with previous Account Management experience who is used to being client facing
  • Communication skills are key, both verbally and written and you'll be used to building strong relationships with open conversations at all levels.
  • Industry related experience isn't necessary but you'll be comfortable working in a service based environment
  • A full UK driving license is needed
  • You'll be able to identify opportunities through strong fact finding but also deal with problems and concerns within each account and work with the extended business team to resolve them for the customer.

The Package:


  • A basic salary of up to £35,000 is offered
  • There is commission and a bonus structure adding around £6k
