Your new role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Architect to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying areas of improvement across system architecture, operational excellence and procedural scopes, and coaching and assistingothers to enhance their skill sets to achieve great results.

Reporting to the Registry CTO, you will also assist in the generation and rapid prototyping of new concepts and ideas which will help the business become more dynamic, nimble and successful.

What you'll need to succeed

A keen interest in operational excellence and improvement.
Prior experience in developing processes and clear, concise, documentation.
Ability to rapidly prototype within the AWS cloud. Strong understanding of a widerange of AWS technologies.
Good understanding of Docker and containerisation ecosystems.
Demonstrated ability in monitoring, metrics and system observability.
An understanding of onpremise infrastructure, including technologies such as Keepalived, LVS, VRRP, BGP, etc.
Good working knowledge of MySQL/MariaDB and other data stores such as Redis, Memcache and DynamoDB.
The ability to design and project manage large scale change through to completion.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and code quality controls.
Midlevel software development capabilities using Python, in order to build prototype and production quality code, with good unit testing.
Ability to break big challenges into smaller deliverable chunks.

What you'll get in return
This is a remote first role with the opportunity to even the flexibility to work aboard. the base salary will go to £100k. there is also a very comprehensive benefits and bonus scheme
