Description

My client is a large, complex, not for profit organisation based in Hampshire.

Alongside an ongoing transformation project, they are recruiting for an Interim Financial Accounting Lead on an 18-24 month fixed term contract, with key responsibilities including:

Leading on the preparation of year end accounts
Being the key point of contact for external auditors
Reviewing and analysing financial data and reconciling against backup datafiles
Planning for audit and year end processes, and compiling yeartodate reports
Supporting a Chart Of Accounts redesign project, providing the financial expertise needed to inform the successful delivery of the project.

The role would particularly suit those from a practice background, as the complex requirements lend themselves to those with strong organisational, client management, and accounts preparation skills.

To be considered, these criteria must be met:

Hold a full accountancy qualification
Have exposure to significant complexity either in size of organisation or number of income/expenditure streams in past roles.
