Location - Rochdale

Hours: 37.5 with Hybrid Working


Our client, based in the center of Rochdale, are a market leading international Manufacturing company, who specialize in the production of branded cleaning products and systems.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Customs Administrator.

This position is well suited to a results and attention to detail oriented character, who is looking for an opportunity to establish a career with a long-standing international business.

The Customs Administrator role is based in their Supply Chain / Logistics Department and reports to the SCM Director.

The purpose of the Customs Administrator is to manage and maintain all Import / Export documentation; prepare the business for Internal / External Audits; and ensure the business is compliant with customs and foreign trade law regulations.


Customs Administrator Responsibilities:


  • Filing / Archiving all import and export documentation
  • Managing the inhouse tracking system
  • Ensuring compliance with foreign trade law and customs regulations
  • Preparing for Audits both internally and externally
  • Keeping up to date with customs regulations and import / export laws
  • Assist in the process of provide more costeffective compliance results
  • Assisting in providing more efficient processes and procedures

Customs Administrator Requirements:


  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Packages
  • Word / Outlook / Excel
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP/MRP Systems
  • Educated to a Degree standard or equivalent
  • Strong communication and attention to detail
  • Must be commercially aware
  • Must be organised and be able to work under press and set deadlines
