This is an exciting and challenging position for a detailed oriented administrator to either create a career in pension's payroll or continue their existing career within this field with the market leader.

Please note that this role will require enhanced referencing (Met Police CTC Clearance, Armed Forces, BPSS and MyCSP, SC) and this process can take up to 3 months.
Core Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide service to customers as per agreed SLA and KPIs
- Provide support to colleagues on the team
- Perform a series of pension payroll activities (full training will be provided) including:
- Periodic payroll reconciliation
- Lump Sums and Supps Reconciliation Checking of all payroll outputs
- Basic parameter generation
- Liaise with third parties and provide information as required
- Maintenance of data, filing and department records, checking and integrity of data
- Process a wide range of routine and nonroutine documentation within defined procedures
- Identify potential problems with reconciliations, reports and systems
- Assist in the compliance and maintenance of ISO standard by adhering to Quality Management System
- Identify and implement process improvement in immediate area of work responsibility in order to improve throughout and customer service
- Carry out projects and adhoc actives as determined by team leader
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Knowledge Microsoft Office
- Strong understanding of Excel formulas and macro's
- Ability to work within agreed processes and procedures
- Ability to work to strict deadlines
- Ability to develop working relationships with both internal and external colleagues and clients
- Ability to work as part of a team or on their own
- Basic financial awareness
- Awareness of banking operation procedures and policies (ideal, but not essential)
- Experience of working in an operations environment (ideal but not essential)
