£23,500, £29,250 depending on experience and overtime available.

My client is looking for a Welder/ Fabricator for their manufacturing establishment in the Telford area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation and fabrication of metal components for machine assembly
Working to concise engineering drawings and production timescales
Set up and operate fabricating machines which may include; Press brake, guillotine, punch, saw, drills and welding machines
Utilising fabrication machinery to bend, cut, punch and otherwise form and assemble welded metal components
Use of hand tools such as, drilling, grinding and finishing
To adhere to the company policies and procedures

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Proven and demonstrated welding and fabrication capabilities
Use of basic hand tools and small power tools.
Have a sound knowledge of manufacturing processes.

Good organisation skills with the ability to look ahead on tasks.
Selfmotivated and enthusiastic attitude
Excellent communication skills.
