hour shifts a week - Saturday & Sunday


As part of our clients Retail team, the post holder will be required to work alongside an existing team as well as retail volunteers.

This is a hands-on role where the ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteers is essential, but equally important is a willingness to work with them on a day to day tasks.

Regular communication with the management team will be required for the retail department to reach its full potential.


Example of duties include:

  • Transporting donated stock to and from customers/ donors' homes
  • Delivering stock replenishing to our shops
  • Sorting, preparing, tagging donated goods to be sold within our 4 retail locations
  • Providing a high standard of customers service
  • Operating the till
  • Maintaining sales floors to agreed merchandising techniques
  • Replenishing stock to maximise sales
  • Various domestic duties
  • Adhering to daily task manager and H&S policies
Items required to transport are all sizes - predominantly furniture - therefore the post holder must be physically fit. They will also be responsible for the volunteers working alongside them.

This is a hands-on role where the ability to lead and motivate a team of volunteers is essential, but equally important is the willingness to work with them on day to day tasks.

This is a fast-paced dynamic environment, therefore a driver with good organisational skills, professional attitude and able to cope well under pressure is sought.

Part-time

Part-time hours: 15 per week


Salary:
£9.50 per hour


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Weekend availability

Experience:


  • Retail sales: 1 year (preferred)
- customer service: 1 year (preferred)
