ROLE OVERVIEW

Responsible for supporting the UK operational logistics requirements, ensuring the smooth transfer of stock from Kitting House through to the UK warehouse and the onward distribution to retail, salon and e-commerce customers.

Role based in Leeds office tosupport 3rd party Warehouse in Midlands.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure stock is transferred from UK Kitting house into the 3PL in a timely fashion to enable maximum availability maintaining optimum stock holding levels.
Ensure goods receipts are processed in accordance with the appropriate 3PL KPI's, ensure that corresponding stock transfers are completed on SAP.
Ensure all stock being reintegrated due to returns processing is completed in an accurate & timely manner.
Coordinate delivery of all UK Orders / stock transfers from kitting house into UK DC
Co-Ordinate and liaise with third party Logistics providers, to ensure effortless transfers transfer of stock between locations.
Ensure all stock in "error" statuses within the 3PL is resolved and made available as quickly as possible.
Liaise with UK Management team & Supply Planning team to coordinate all launches are coordinated in the most efficient strategy.
Liaise with the Channel Heads, Digital & Customer Service teams & 3PL to ensure stock is available to meet all forecast requirements and allowing orders to be processed according to agreed timescales.
Anticipate issues to help ghd manage Supply Chain risk."Go the extra mile" to ensure that issues are resolved promptly.
Support the development and implementation of ghd's overall Supply Chain strategy.
Support the Logistics team where necessary to ensure all requirements are met.
Take ownership of the UK order processes, ensuring all orders are entered on system to ensure that all agreed order turnarounds are met.
Ensure all Special Requirement Customers customer orders and processes are in conformance with required specifications & bookedin in advance.
Coordinate delivery of UK orders direct to customers.
Work closely with the UK 3PL to ensure orders are being managed proactively to ensure agreed timescales are met.
Support where necessary the rest of the Leeds based UK Operations team
Fix inbound & outbound errors within SAP whilst liaising with the 3PL.

KEY SKILLS &ATTRIBUTES

Knowledge of UK Road Haulage networks
Experience of dealing with logistics providers & ability to understand networks.
Strong warehousing & logistics experience.
Experience within a fastmoving, international consumer business (Experience in ecommerce distribution would be ideal)
Ability to work autonomously, plan and organise own workload and to work within timescales / tight deadlines.
Enthusiastic and handson style, capable of resolving daytoday issues.
Ability to look at existing processes and drive service improvements.
Adopts a continuous improvement approach.
