ER Recruitment is working exclusively with its client, Wellglade Group, a well-known, highly reputable company working and growing in various sectors.


Wellglade is a successful, mature management buy-out of over 35 years turning over £65 million annually and employing over 1300 people.

The Group predominantly operates in the public transport sector but it is now seeking to widen its sphere of operations and has identified potential sectors.


Its success is founded on a close-knit, open senior management team and a culture which empowers managers and employees to make decisions and always put the customer first.


Due to their expansion and growth the company are now seeking a proactive, driven individual to take on the new post of Group CEO to drive the business to the next level.


The Group CEO will be responsible for providing strategic, and operational leadership for the company and will closely coordinate and work with the Board of Directors and senior leadership team.


Responsibilities:

Plan, develop, implement and direct the Group's operational and financial performance.

Act as a strategic partner by developing and implementing the company's plans.


Identify, evaluate and recommend potential new business opportunities and areas to diversify and broaden the Group's portfolio of operations specifically evaluating potential mergers, acquisitions, or partnerships.

Analyse the effects of long-term growth initiatives, planning, new strategies, and regulatory actions.

Implement, improve, and enforce policies and procedures that will increase the financial and operational effectiveness of the company.


Communicate effectively and establish credibility throughout the Group and with the Board of Directors as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.

Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organisation.


Act as a strategic advisor and consultant offering expert advice within the group on contracts, negotiations, or business deals the Group may enter.


Evaluate the group's operational, and sales and marketing structures to plan for continual improvements and a continual increase in operating efficiencies.


Mentor and interact with staff members at all levels to foster growth and encourage development among the senior executive team and all staff members.
