Job Overview
We're looking for someone who can show passion for the charity, its mission and aims, and who looks beyond the job description to collaborate with other areas of the charity to ensure contacts made can be utilised.
You'll manage events, recruit volunteers and work closely with the charity manager and the trustees to ensure that all fundraising efforts are effective and also compliant with legal and ethical standards.
Responsibilities

- Generate and followup leads from community groups and organisations willing to fundraise with us
- Develop relationships with schools and sports groups to increase the participation of players, pupils, coaches and staff in events and awareness campaigns
- Manage and grow income from collection tins
- Provide support for groups and individuals in their fundraising (tshirts, collection tins, branding, event attendance etc)
- Stewardship of fundraisers, nurturing relationships for future involvement
- Recruit volunteers to help with fundraising activities
- Events_
- Create two new largerscale events for individuals and groups to take part in, tailored to our fundraisers' needs and locations, as well as gaps in our calendar
- Promote existing events to increase participation
- Comanage largerscale events in terms of increasing participation, attendee management, logistics, communications, followup
- Evaluate effectiveness of events
- Work on events alongside community groups, attending where appropriate

- Promote and organise Booster Box scheme arranging gifts for children
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in fundraising activities
- Stay uptodate on the latest fundraising trends and best practices to ensure the charity's fundraising efforts are effective and successful
- Promote regular giving scheme
- Manage database of volunteers and donors in line with appropriate legal policies
About You
- Proven experience in community fundraising, with a track record of generating income and developing relationships with stakeholders
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team we're fully remote so you need to be used to working remotely
- Knowledge of the latest fundraising trends and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
