Senior IT Engineer - 3rd Line. Circa £45k - £50k. 6 Months Fixed Term. Hybrid - ideally 2 days a week onsite / May consider Fully Remote. West London. T6/MN/
Global organisation is seeking to secure a Senior IT Workplace Engineer.
Role:
- Support the design, build, testing & deployment of client workplace solutions.
- Management & development of the Microsoft Windows Client remote support & monitoring the solution.
- Windows 10 or 11 implementation & rollout.
- PowerShell scripting
- Build & maintain complex scripts using PowerShell to automate tasks where required
- Provide 3rd level support to the 2nd level support team.
- Management & development of the Global IT Workplace management backend systems
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager & Microsoft SCCM.
- Ensure operation, update, documentation & interaction of client management infrastructure and tools
- Microsoft SCCM, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Advanced Group Policy Management.
- Transfer & training of the global 2nd level support team.
- Ownership of Microsoft Windows Client operating system & hardware.
- Remote support & desktop enduser support utilizing Windows Client remote support (ConnectWise Control) & monitoring solution (Nexthink).
- Ongoing development of the Windows Client & adaptation of the Microsoft Evergreen process.
- Coordination and realization of the software packaging & implementation.
- Troubleshoot complex problems by Root Cause Analysis and evaluating solutions in conjunction with 2nd level team.
- Ensure Workplace Incidents & Service Requests are maintained in ServiceNow.
- Creation of KPI reports in client management.
- Coordinate with external partners.
- Build & maintain relationships with key internal & external contacts.
Technical Skills Required:
- Microsoft Windows Client Systems
- Strong knowledge.

- Intune deploying mobile apps iOS & Android
- Strong knowledge.
- Experience with emerging technology, such as Cloud computing & Unified Communications.
- Strong problemsolving ability.
- Technical writing ability.
- Effective communication skills.
- Selforganization skills ability to prioritize the daily workload.
- Ability to work under own initiative & communicate effectively at all levels.
- Ability to provide relevant training for IT employees when required.
- Take ownership of new technologies adopted by the company.
- Manage your own work area in the absence of or guidance from the line manager.
- Ability to work under pressure work to tight timelines and when faced with businesscritical system issues.
- Ability to delegate work to third party Consultants when required.
- Collaborative approach to teamwork flexible & reliable team member.
