Overview


Develop and implement an integrated marketing communication strategy (in line with the Bank's strategic objectives) across a range of platforms and communications channels to create a singular branding message.


A key member of the Commercial Team, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the marketing function and managing day-to-day marketing activity including brand management and corporate identity, website, collateral, campaigns, PR, internal and externalcommunications and events and seminars.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a creative an integrated marketing communications strategy, plans and approaches to favourably market and position the Bank.
  • Ensuring the brand meets expectations through monitoring customer and other feedback.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with external stakeholders, including marketing and digital agencies, together with the PR agency.
  • Coordinating and enforcing branding guidelines and standards across departments and business lines.
  • Overseeing the creative development of communication materials, e.g., social media, website content, advertisements, etc., and ensuring all confirm to the relevant regulations and are correctly approved
  • Monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of marketing communications.
  • Responsibility for effective internal communications across the Bank (ensuring that all relevant company functions are kept informed on marketing objectives).
  • Responsibility for the marketing budget and overseeing of invoice tracking.
  • Ownership of social media channels and content.
  • Ensuring full compliance with the Bank's policies and procedures, including the adherence to all regulatory requirements.
  • Providing clear and transparent leadership to all direct reports and ensuring a commitment to the Bank's values.
  • Inspiring, motivating and supporting direct report(s) so they are thinking and acting at their best, delivering high quality work, working as an effective team, and meeting organisational and individual objectives.
  • Supporting the professional development of direct report(s) to continuously develop skills and expertise and support career development objectives

What you will Bring

  • Experience of developing and delivering marketing in Financial Services.
  • Qualification in marketing
  • A strategic and creative thinker with proven experience of working on diverse and wideranging communication strategies including all forms of media.
  • Experience of managing a team demonstrated by evidence of leading a team to contribute to organisational objectives and show resilience in the face of changing priorities.
  • Experience of developing and managing strong and complex relationships across the business and externally with multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as presentation, project management, problemsolving and leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to measuring the impact of communications and change strategy because of the findings.
  • The ability to multitask, administrative and/or project management skills
  • Understand in a small organisation often you will personally need to roll up your sleeves
  • Enthusiastic, diplomatic, and calm under pressure.

Nice to Have

  • Proficient in Google Analytics or other web analysis tools to increase the visibility, profile, and reputation of the Bank.
  • Good understanding of social media and the impact technology is having on communications and collaboration.
  • Selfstarter with a flexible but robust approach, good team player, commercial, business focused and pragmatic, able to work independently essential.
