JT Recruit are currently looking for a Transport Planner for our client based in South Normanton.

This will be working nights 22:00pm - 06:00am Monday to Friday on a temporary to permanent basis.


Work Consists of:


  • You will ensure that routes and the delivery of goods are executed to the highest standard for clients across the night shift.
  • Effective route planning ensuring the best utilisation of the fleet
  • Effective scheduling of routes to ensure on time deliveries
  • Trouble shoot issues arising over order alterations
  • At least 2 years previous experience of working as a Transport Planner within a busy, fast paced transport office
  • Outstanding geographical knowledge with experience of multi drop planning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships and deliver excellent customer service
  • Ideally applicants will have a CPC National and be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of driver hours legislation.

Rates of Pay:

- £15.91 per hour
