Description

The Children in Care and Care Leaver service consists of a team of social workers and personal advisors (PA) across Stafford and South Staffordshire.

The PA role will be responsible for providing practical support advice and guidance to young people leaving our care.


This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside professionals from a range of disciplines including, social workers, personal advisors, accommodation providers, housing, welfare benefits, mental health professionals, substance misuse services and foundations to employment.


Through these multiple relationships you will help prepare young adults to ensure they are supported within their journey to independence.

Working within the corporate parenting principles you will empower young adults to develop skills to prepare them for their futures.


Applicants must have significant experience of working with children / young people and be flexible, have good communication skills and an ability to work collaboratively with other professionals, be solution focused to achieve best outcomes for our young people.

Interviews will take place 20 and 21 December.
