Job Title:
Supervisor, GP Surgery


Location:
Crescent Providence Surgery, Boscombe


Contract:
Full-time position, hours per week, 8am-6.30pm


Salary:
Competitive, up to £32k (DOE)


About the Role:

Being part of a large, multi-site, and established Primary Care Network, we can offer career progression, development and support to grow internally, in addition to funded courses where applicable.

As a Supervisor, you will oversee all day-to-day business operations of a busy GP practice. This includes implementing and managing efficient patient processes and supporting a team of highly-skilled Reception/Administration staff.

You will be a first line supervisor to your team, motivating and rewarding, identifying skill gaps and assisting with ongoing training.


As well as the day-to-day practice management, you will also be involved with recruitment, monitoring staff sickness as well as appraisals and staff reviews.

You will also co-ordinate and participate in Reception duties ensuring Reception/Administration Staff are supported and all patients and visitors are treated by all, in a professional and pleasant manner.


About you:


  • You will be enthusiastic, friendly and approachable with an excellent patientfocussed manner
  • You will have significant understanding of Medical terminology
  • Strong leadership and organisation skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail, accurate typing and letter proof reading skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Knowledge of practice management systems such as SystmOne
